Call for contributions to Springer book – Topological Methods in Visualization: Theory, Software and Applications
During June, the 8th workshop on topological methods in visualization “TopoInVis 2019” took place at Nyköping, Sweden. As a follow up we decided to edit a Springer book in the Series Mathematics and Visualization. The tentative title of the book is “Topological Methods in Visualization: Theory, Software and Applications”.
For the book, we welcome original research articles, overview articles and software and system papers that fall in this area. All paper submissions from the workshop will be automatically considered for the book. We hope for full paper submission from all presented extended abstracts. In addition, we also invite new papers that have not been presented at the workshop.
We welcome papers related to topological methods in visualization, from theory, algorithms, applications to software, including:
- Original research papers
- Software and systems papers
- Overview and introductory papers
We would like to ask you to send us your chapter abstracts by September 15 and submit your full chapters for peer review by October 15. If you have already submitted a paper for the workshop please upload the revised version for the second-round review. All other papers will go through a two-round review cycle. Since we will follow a double blind review process, please make sure your submissions are anonymized.
We request the submissions through EasyChair. For preparation of manuscripts we ask authors to use the LaTeX templates available from Springer. There is no page limit, but we recommend 14 pages. Full-color images are possible on all pages.
Since we are determined to finish the book in a timely manner we want to keep a strict timeline and ask you to meet these deadlines. Our currently planned timeline is.
